GMC Kathua Releases Revised Provisional Waiting List for Senior Resident ENT Post – Check Joining Instructions
The Government Medical College (GMC) Kathua has issued a revised provisional waiting list for the post of Senior Resident (ENT) on a tenure basis, as per Advertisement Notice No: GMCK/Advt-G/2025-26/01-03 dated 06.05.2025.

Earlier, the selection list for Senior Resident/Demonstrator positions across various disciplines was notified via Order No.: GMCK/E-1/2024-25/163 dated 30.05.2025. However, the candidate listed at Serial No./File No. 12, Dr. Aruna Bhagat, failed to join within the stipulated 7-day period.
Fresh Opportunity for Next Eligible Candidate
In light of the above, the next eligible candidate as per merit, listed in Annexure-A, is now provisionally selected and directed to report and join within 7 days from the date of issuance of this order. Failure to join within this period will result in automatic cancellation of the offer, and the opportunity will be passed to the next candidate on the merit list without further notice.
Joining Conditions
The selected candidate must possess a Permanent Registration Certificate from the J&K Medical Council at the time of joining. For PSC candidates, joining is only permissible after receiving a relieving order from the Administrative Department.
Moreover, salary disbursement is subject to satisfactory verification of character and antecedents from CID, J&K.
Documents Required at the Time of Joining
Selected candidates must submit two office files and two sets of self-attested photocopies of the following documents:
- Joining Application
- Selection Order
- 10th Diploma/Mark Sheet/Date of Birth Certificate
- MBBS/BDS/Medical M.Sc Degree Certificate
- MBBS/BDS Registration Certificate
- All Professional Marks Cards (MBBS/BDS/M.Sc)
- Attempt Certificate
- MBBS Internship Completion Certificate
- MD/MS/Medical PhD Degree
- MD/MS Registration Certificate
- Domicile Certificate (UT of J&K)
- Copy of J&K Bank Passbook (for salary purposes)
- Affidavit attested by 1st Class Magistrate affirming compliance with all terms and conditions mentioned in Annexure-B
Online CID Verification Process
The CID verification is fully online. Candidates must have a valid and working mobile number to receive a Form ID, Password, and submission link via SMS from the CID Headquarters.
After receiving the SMS, candidates must submit their details within 7 days. It is advised to review the form carefully before final submission, as incomplete or incorrect forms delay processing.
