Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar invites applications for various positions under the ICMR-funded project titled: “Identification of the clinical phenotypes and comparison of the risk factors of thiamine deficiency disorders in various regions of India: A Multicentric Study.” The appointments are purely on a contractual basis for an initial period of six months.
Position Details
1. Project Research Scientist II (Non-Medical)
- No. of Posts: 01
- Essential Qualification: Postgraduate in Life Sciences with PhD + 2 years of research experience
- Salary: As per ICMR Guidelines.

2. Project Research Scientist I (Non-Medical)
- No. of Posts: 02
- Essential Qualification: Postgraduate in Life Sciences with PhD
- Salary: As per ICMR Guidelines
3. Project Technician Support II
- No. of Posts: 02
- Essential Qualification: BSc MLT + 3 years of experience or PG
- Salary: As per ICMR Guidelines
4. Data Entry Operator
- No. of Posts: 01
- Essential Qualification: Graduation in Science stream with knowledge of computer applications
- Salary: As per ICMR Guidelines
