SRINAGAR: A government school teacher lost her life after being hit by a dumper in the Old Town area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Thursday, officials said.

A dumper, driven by an unidentified person, struck the victim. She was critically injured and rushed to District Hospital (DH) Budgam, where doctors pronounced her dead on arrival.
The deceased has been identified as Shaista, wife of Fayaz Ahmad Dar, a resident of Housing Colony, Ompora, sources said.
Meanwhile, authorities have taken cognizance of the incident, and an investigation has been initiated. (KNT
