Govt Appoints Nodal Officers for Smooth Conduct of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2025

The Jammu and Kashmir Government has officially nominated nodal officers for ensuring the smooth and effective management of the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2025. The appointments were made under Government Order No. 725-JK(GAD) of 2025, dated 17.06.2025.

Nodal Officer Appointments:

• Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary has been designated as the Nodal Officer for Baltal Axis.
• Mr. Rahul Yadav will serve as the Nodal Officer for the Pahalgam Axis.

These officers will take on the additional responsibilities of managing the Yatra operations alongside their existing duties.

Responsibilities:

The nodal officers are tasked with:

• Coordinating with all agencies involved in the planning and execution of the Yatra.
• Monitoring arrangements on their respective routes.
• Reporting regularly to the Chief Executive Officer, Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board.

This step is part of the government’s proactive approach to ensure a safe, organized, and hassle-free pilgrimage experience for devotees participating in the annual yatra.
