SRINAGAR: A 5-year-old boy died after coming under a falling walnut tree branch in Khurhama Lolab in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said on Monday afternoon.

Nauman Farooq Padder, son of Farooq Ahmed Padder, was critically injured after coming under a falling branch of a walnut tree.
The minor was soon evacuated from the site, and taken to SDH Kupwara, from where doctors, sensing emergency, referred him to SKIMS Soura. He, however, died en route to the hospital.
Confirming the incident, a police official said that they have taken cognisance of the matter for further investigations.
