High Court J&K Recruitment 2023–2024 -The Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court has published an advertisement notice for the direct quota reader positions (gazetted).
Eligible candidates are encouraged to apply online in order to be considered for the Reader position, as detailed in the notification.

Date of Online Application Submission Launch: December 15, 2023
The deadline for submitting online applications is December 30, 2023.

High Court J&K Recruitment 2023–2024: Job Descriptions and Eligibility Requirements
There are eight posts overall.
Candidates must be domiciles of the UT of Jammu and Kashmir in accordance with GAD, the Government of Jammu and Kashmir, and must be real residents in the UT of Ladakh, having lived there for at least 15 years prior to the application date.
Age Restriction
The age of the candidates is as of January 1, 2023:
not younger than eighteen
In the event of Open Merit, no more than 40 years.
43 years for applicants who are ST/ALC and IB/EWS/PSP.
42 years for candidates who are physically challenged
48 years for former military personnel
Candidates in Government Service or Contractual Employees may have up to 40 years of experience.
Application Costs
A charge of Rs. 500/-was deposited.
The following standards will be used to choose candidates for the Reader position in the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir under the 70% direct recruitment quota:
Written Examination.
A written test with an objective format and 85 questions that are worth one mark each will be administered. The written exam will last for ninety minutes.
Conversation [Viva-Voce].
There will be a 15-mark viva-voce. Based on their performance in the written exam, candidates will be called for interviews or viva-voces in a 1:5 ratio.
