Tina Dabi appeared for the UPSC Civil Services 2015 Exam and cleared it with flying colours. She also became the first woman from the SC Category to have topped the UPSC CSE Exam. Dabi got a total of 1063 marks and proceed to secure the All India Rank of AIR 1.

Tina Dabi began her UPSC Preparation during her time at Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Delhi University. Dabi completed her graduation in BA Political Science.

IAS Tina Dabi shares tips to crack UPSC Civil Services Exam

During her preparation, Dabi shares that she read newspapers daily to keep up with current affairs and also add to her general knowledge skills.

Dabi also suggests that UPSC aspirants should choose their optional subject for the paper wisely. The optional subject can be a path changing for students. It’s best to opt for a subject one is interested and familiar in.

Tina Dabi also made her own time table and study schedule which she followed religiously. She also encourages aspirants to take adequate breaks so that they do not burn out. At present, Tina Dabi is working in the Rajasthan Cadre as an IAS officer. She works as the District Collector and Magistrate at Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.

UPSC 2023 Prelims notification will be released next week on the official website upsc.gov.in. The exam is scheduled to be held in May 2023.
