Positions and Salary Details

1. Professor

• Salary: Rs. 1,59,100 – 2,20,200/-

1. Associate Professor

• Minimum Basic Pay: Rs. 1,39,600/- (Academic Pay Level 13A2 and Cell 1 of the Pay Matrix of 7th Pay Commission) per month

1. Assistant Professor

• Salary: Rs. 70,900 to Rs. 1,01,500/-

1. Visiting Professor

• IIT Jammu shall provide competitive remunerations and support for visiting faculty members as per Institute regulations.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Ph.D. in a relevant area with first class or equivalent at the preceding degrees and a consistently good academic record.
