For the second consecutive year, the IPL auction is being held outside India, following last year’s successful event in Dubai. The two-day auction will feature 574 players, narrowed down from an initial pool of 1,574 candidates. Among these:

• 208 are international players.
• 12 are uncapped international prospects.
• 318 are uncapped Indian players.
• A total of 204 slots are available across the 10 franchises, with 70 slots earmarked for overseas players.

The opening day is focused on the first 12 player sets, which include some of the biggest names in cricket. Top stars like Faf du Plessis, Sam Curran, and Prithvi Shaw are expected to go under the hammer on Day 2.
