Jammu & Kashmir Government Transfers 41 Officers in Major Administrative Reshuffle
JAMMU: The Jammu and Kashmir government has ordered a reshuffle in the administration with the transfer and posting of 41 officers across various departments. The General Administration Department issued two separate orders detailing the changes, which take effect immediately.

Vivek Sharma, Special Secretary in the Agriculture Production Department, has been appointed as Director General, Floriculture, Jammu, and will assume the position following the retirement of Jatinder Singh on March 31, 2025.
Bhawani Rakwal, who was awaiting an adjustment order, has been posted as Project Director, Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan.
Khalid Jahangir, Managing Director of the Jammu and Kashmir Trade Promotion Organization, has been reassigned as Special Secretary in the Industries and Commerce Department and will also hold additional charge as Director of the Entrepreneurship Development Institute.
Shahbaz Ahmad Mirza has been appointed as Managing Director of the Jammu and Kashmir Housing Board.
Rubina Kausar has been appointed as Director, Libraries, Jammu and Kashmir.
Sudarshan Kumar, Secretary of the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education, has been transferred and posted as Managing Director, Jammu and Kashmir Trade Promotion Organisation.
Naseem Javaid Chowdhary, Managing Director of the Horticulture Produce, Marketing and Processing Corporation, has been transferred as Director, School Education, Jammu.
Mohammad Younis Malik has been reassigned as Special Secretary in the Power Development Department.
Vikas Sharma has been transferred to the Housing and Urban Development Department as Special Secretary and will also serve as Mission Director, Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT).
Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar has been appointed as Vice-Chairman of the Lakes, Conservation and Management Authority.

Suraj Parkash Rukwal, Director of Handicrafts and Handloom, Jammu, has been reassigned as Director of Geology and Mining.

Mohammad Nazir Sheikh, who was under orders of repatriation from the Union Territory of Ladakh, has been posted as Director of Handicrafts and Handloom, Jammu.
