The Government of Jammu and Kashmir, has granted in-situ promotions to selected Junior Assistants serving in the J&K Secretariat (Subordinate) Service. The decision is based on the recommendations of the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC), which held meetings on June 5, 2024, and December 12, 2024.

Details of the Promotions
The promotions have been sanctioned under the J&K Civil Services (Higher Standard Pay Scale Scheme) Rules, 1996, as notified through SRO-14 of 1996, along with amendments made via SRO-93 of 2009 and SRO-42 of 2011. Payment of Arrears
