The Jammu and Kashmir government has recently undertaken a significant reshuffle within the police department, transferring several inspectors, sub-inspectors, and assistant sub-inspector (ASI). This move is part of a broader strategy to enhance operational efficiency and address various administrative needs within the police force.

District Police Headquarters Ganderbal – the following transfers have been ordered with immediate effect:

  1. Inspector Sheikh Manzoor (EXK002160) – Transferred to SHO Police Station Kangan.
  2. Inspector Mehboob Hussain (EXK002159) – Transferred to SHO Police Station Ganderbal.
  3. Inspector Khalid Sultan (ARP026185) – Transferred to SHO Police Station Kheerbhawani.
  4. Inspector Afaq Majid (EXK109321) – Transferred to RI/Juvenile Police Officer DPL Ganderbal.
  5. Sub Inspector Irfan Belal (EXK196051) – Transferred to Incharge Police Post Shadipora.
  6. Sub Inspector Fayaz Ahmad (EXK045780) – Transferred to Incharge Police Component Kangan.
  7. Sub Inspector Sanjay Kumar (EXK971333) – Transferred to Incharge JIC PC Ganderbal.
  8. ASI Ashiq Hussain (EXK962151) – Transferred to Incharge PCR Ganderbal.

All personnel are deemed to be relieved effective from the afternoon of October 30, 2024.
