SRINAGAR: A soldier was killed and eight others were injured when their vehicle skidded off the road and rolled down an embankment in the DH Pora area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district, officials reported on Saturday.

Quoting an official, KNO reported that the accident occurred in the Damhal Hanjipora area of Kulgam this morning, injuring nine army personnel.

One of the injured soldiers later succumbed to his injuries.
