On the basis of performance in the written examination held on 21.06.2024, and the interview conducted on 08.01.2025, the candidates as shown in Annexure “B” to this notification have provisionally been selected for the post of Soil Conservation Assistant/Equivalent. The Aggregate Merit of the 15 candidates who appeared in the interview is enclosed as “Annexure-A” to this notification.

Provisional Select List for the post of Fisheries Development Officer, in Agriculture Production Department.
Notification No. 46-PSC (DR-S) of 2024 Dated: 14.01.2025
Whereas, Agriculture Production Department, vide letter No. ASH/Fish/22/2017 dated 09.06.2020, 21.12.2020 & 21.01.2021, referred two (02) posts (0M:01, RBA:01) of Fisheries Development Officer, in Agriculture Production Department, to the J&K Public Service Commission, for selection of suitable candidates and Commission, vide Notification No. 04-PSC (DR-P) of 2021 dated 16.04.2021, advertised the said posts for selection; and,
Whereas, written test was conducted on 28.05.2024. The result of the written test was declared vide Notification No. PSC/Exam/S/2024/46 dated: 07.08.2024, in pursuance of Rule 42 of J&K Public Service Commission (Conduct of Examination) Rules, 2022 and Rule 31 of J&K Public Service Commission (Business & Procedure) Rules, 2021; and,
Whereas, Eleven (11) candidates were shortlisted against Notification dated 16.04.2021, 02 (two) candidates remained absent & 02 (two) candidates were found ineligible, as such interview of 07 candidates was conducted; and, Whereas, the viva-voce of candidates was conducted on 7th of January, 2025 with the assistance of Experts from outside the UT of J&K.
Now, therefore, on the basis of the performance in the written test, interview, and other related parameters, in pursuance of Rule 43 (ii) of the J&K Public Service Commission (Business & Procedure) Rules, 2021, the merit of the candidates who appeared in the interview is enclosed as Annexure-“A” to this Notification.
