Whereas, the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) conducted
Written Examination for the posts of Junior Assistant/Junior Assistant-cum-Computer
Operator, Divisional/District Cadres of Kashmir, advertised vide Advertisement Notification
No. 01 of 2022, under item Nos. 001 to 017 on 21-09-2023; and

Whereas, the JKSSB, Vide Notification No. JKSSB-COEOEXAM(UT)/23/2023-03
(7124203), dated: 23-02-2023, issued a Notification of Result of Computer Based Type Test
(Skill Test) for the Posts of Junior Assistant/Junior Assistant cum Computer Operator; and
NOTIFICATION
Whereas, the JKSSB, vide Notice No. JKSSB-COEOEXAM(UT)/65/2023-04(7263889),
dated: 21-09-2023, issued provisional Answer Key in respect of the written test; and
Whereas, in response to aforesaid notice, 28 objections were received in respect of 07
unique questions. Subsequently, the objections were examined and after due deliberations
on the matter, the final answer key in respect of written examination held for the said post
was finalized and notified vide No. JKSSB-COEOEXAM(UT)/65/2023-04(7263889) dated: 04
10-2023; and
i. Type Test: 20 Marks.

Whereas, the following criteria has been adopted while compiling the result/score
i.
Type Test score of a candidate = ^* 20.
X= Net speed of candidate,
ii. Written Test (OMR): 80 Marks.
Y = Maximum Net speed achieved in the instant examination by any candidate i.e.
59 WPM.

Now, therefore, by adopting the above criteria, the result/score-sheet, based on the
performance of candidates who appeared in the Type Test (Skill Test) and Written Test for
the post of Junior Assistant/Junior Assistant cum Computer Operator, Divisional/District
Cadres of Kashmir, advertised vide Advertisement Notification No. 01 of 2022, under item
Nos. 001 to 017, conducted on 21-09-2023, is hereby notified as Annexure “A”.
Mere figuring in the result/score sheet shall not entitle a candidate to be called
for document verification or fiqure in the select list and that he/she has to fulfil
other eligibility conditions, as laid down and decision of the Board in this regard
shall be final.
