Job Recruitment in GMC Rajouri ;The Government Medical College (GMC) Rajouri has announced job openings for the position of Senior Resident in various disciplines.   2. General Medicine: 6 positions
  3. General Surgery: 6 positions
  4. Radio-Diagnosis: 5 positions
  5. Radio-Therapy: 3 positions
  6. TB & Respiratory Diseases: 2 positions
  7. Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation: 2 positions

Eligibility Criteria

Selection and Eligibility Criteria

The selection and eligibility criteria are defined by the following government orders:

  1. Eligibility Criteria: Governed by Govt. Order No. 383-JK(HMF) of 2024 dated 20.06.2024 and Govt. Order No. 282-JK(HMF) of 2023 dated 04.04.2023.
  2. Selection Criteria: Governed by Govt. Order No. 382-JK(HME) of 2024 dated 20.06.2024.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Salary: The candidates shall be paid as per S.O. 364 of 2020 dated 27-11-2020.
  2. Tenure: The maximum tenure of Senior Resident shall be three years, with no further extension granted under any circumstances.
  3. Verification: Candidates’ documents relating to educational qualification will be verified by the appointing authority.
  4. Provisional Candidature: Candidature remains provisional until document verification is complete.
  5. Affidavit: Candidates must submit an affidavit attested by a Judicial Magistrate at the time of joining, stating they will not leave the residency mid-way and will serve for the full tenure period.
  6. Tenure Basis: Appointments for non-PSC candidates are on a tenure basis without any preferential right for regular appointment.
  7. Vacancy Changes: The department may alter the number of vacancies or decide not to fill the vacancies at any point during the selection process.
