Major Mishap on Sinthan Top Road: SRINAGAR: At least eight were injured in a road accident in the Sinthan Top area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.An official said that an accident occurred at Sinthan Top involving an Intra-v vehicle (Chota Hathi) bearing registration number JK03P-2493, resulting in injuries to at least eight persons.
He said that all the injured persons were rescued by Police, Tourist Police, Traffic Police along with the local administration and residents of the area, and all were taken to PHC Larnoo.The injured persons have been identified as Arif Ahmad Awan, Mohd Imran Awan, Showkat Ali Dedar, Gulzar Ahmad Ladi, Mohd Altaf Khari, Bashir Ahmad Awan, Shafkat Ahmad Khari, and Mohd Yousuf Awan.
The official said that three injured persons have been referred to GMC Anantnag and two of them have been referred to SDH Kokernag after receiving initial treatment at PHC Larnoo.He added that all the injured people are in stable condition.
Meanwhile, Police have taken cognisance and started an investigation in this regard. (JKNS)
