SRINAGAR: A man died after being hit on the head by a stone during a scuffle between two groups in Surankote, Poonch, an official said.

He said that the scuffle erupted between two groups over a land dispute, during which stones were thrown by both sides.

“During the altercation, a stone struck Mohammad Sadiq on the head, causing critical injuries,” the official said, adding, “He was evacuated from the site and taken to SDH Surankote, but he succumbed to his injuries en route.”
Confirming the incident, a police official told GNS that a case has been registered, and further investigations are underway. (GNS)
