The Office of the Child Development Project Officer (CDPO), Billawar, has released the Final Merit List and Select List for the recruitment of Sanginis (Anganwadi Workers) against 26 vacant posts under Project Billawar. This notification is issued following the completion of the selection process and approval from the Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Kathua.

  1. Advertisement Reference:
    • Notification No. 06 of 2023 dated 07-10-2023 invited applications for 26 vacant posts of Sanginis (AWWs).
    • A total of 133 candidates applied.
  2. Scrutiny Process:
    • The merit and documents of all applicants were scrutinized on 22-07-2024 by the Selection Committee constituted under Govt Orders No. 103-JK(SWD) of 2023 and 222-JK(SWD) of 2022.
  3. Provisional List Publication:
    • The Provisional Merit List and Provisional Select List were published via Notification No. 05 of 2024 on 17-08-2024 in Daily Excelsior and displayed at public offices for transparency.
  4. Riders and Revisions:
    • Certain objections were raised against 51 candidates, of which 12 candidates submitted necessary documents to clear their status.
    • 29 candidates were rejected due to non-fulfillment of criteria or incomplete documentation.
  5. Final Approval:
    • On 05-11-2024, the Selection Committee submitted the Final Merit List (94 candidates) and Select List (26 candidates) for approval to the ADDC, Kathua.
    • Approval was conveyed via letter No. ADDC/K/8/24-25/972-75 dated 08-11-2024.
  6. Publication of Final Lists:
    • The Final Merit List (Annexure-A) and Final Select List (Annexure-B) are now published for public information.

Grievance Redressal:

  • Any grievances or objections related to the lists must be submitted to the Deputy Commissioner, Kathua, within 10 days from the publication date (22-11-2024).
  • No objections will be entertained after the stipulated 10-day period, and the selection will be deemed final.
