SRINAGAR: Tragedy struck in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Tuesday evening as a minor girl succumbed to injuries sustained when a tree fell on her in Tulail village of Gurez in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

According to reports, heavy windstorms caused a tree to collapse onto a 4-year-old girl in the Shiekhpora area of Tulibal, Bandipora. The child, identified as Madhiya Nazir, daughter of Imran Nazir of Tulial Gurez, was critically injured in the incident.

Despite immediate efforts to rush her to a nearby hospital, medical personnel pronounced her dead upon arrival.
