NCERT Launches 28 Free Online Courses for Class 11 & 12 Students on SWAYAM – Enrol by September 1, 2025: The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, has introduced 28 free online courses for students of Classes 11 and 12 through the SWAYAM platform. These Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) are designed to offer flexible, self-paced, and high-quality learning that complements the regular school curriculum.

The initiative spans 11 core subjects from the senior secondary syllabus:

  • Chemistry

  • Sociology
  • English

Each course is created by expert NCERT faculty and includes video lectures, interactive content, assessments, and discussion forums to boost student engagement and deepen understanding.
