SRINAGAR: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday conducted searches at 12 locations in Jammu in connection with a case related to terrorist infiltration from across the border.

Officials said that the raids were carried out at premises linked to overground workers (OGWs), hybrid militants, and sympathisers of militant outfits.
The case (RC-04/2024/NIA/JMU) was registered by the NIA on October 24, 2024, following directions from the Ministry of Home Affairs.
According to officials, these infiltrations were allegedly facilitated by OGWs and terror associates in villages across the Jammu region. They provided logistical support, including food, shelter, and financial aid, to the infiltrators.
