No major rain spell till July 22 in J&K, Chances of rain on July 23 and 24: Met Department

Srinagar, July 18 (KS):- There is no forecast of rain spell till July 22 in J&K, however, there are chances of rain on July 23 and 24, a meteorological department official said on Thursday.

The Director of the Meteorological Department, Mukhtar Ahmad, told News Agency Kashmir Scroll that Jammu and Kashmir will not experience any major rain spell until July 22.

He mentioned that while the region will see generally dry weather conditions during this period, there are chances of rain on July 23 and 24.

Mukhtar Ahmad said that the weather will remain largely stable, with temperatures staying within the normal range.

He said that the Met Department will continue to monitor weather patterns and provide timely updates.(KS)
