Notification: Updated Seniority List of School Education Department Staff (Jammu Division)
The Directorate of School Education, Jammu, has issued the updated seniority lists for Section Officers, Head Assistants, Senior Assistants, and Chauffeurs/Drivers.
Background:
- Previous Seniority Lists:
Final seniority lists for Section Officers, Head Assistants, and Senior Assistants (as of 01-08-2020) and Chauffeurs/Drivers (as of 01-10-2020) were circulated via Order No. 335-DSEJ of 2020 (dated 28-08-2020) and Order No. 393-DSEJ of 2020 (dated 27-10-2020). These lists were also made available on the Directorate’s official website.
Updated seniority lists (as of 01-01-2022) were later issued through Notification No. DSEJ/NG/NT/2021/42938-53 (dated 04-01-2022).

- Need for Revision:
Changes in seniority have occurred due to promotions, retirements, deaths, and other updates. To reflect these changes accurately, the seniority lists have been revised.
Updated Seniority Lists:
The updated seniority lists, effective as of 01-01-2025, for Section Officers, Head Assistants, Senior Assistants, and Chauffeurs/Drivers are now issued as Annexures “A,” “B,” “C,” and “D” to this notification.
Important Notes:
Verification Required: The recorded dates of birth and category certificates in the seniority lists are provisional and subject to verification by the concerned issuing authorities.
Authentication Process: The entries in these lists will be cross-verified with service books, matriculation certificates, birth certificates, and other relevant records, as per established norms.
