Ramadan Moon Not Sighted in India; First Fast on March 2

New Delhi,February 28(SNO):The Markazi Royat-E-Hilal Committee, based at Jama Masjid Delhi, has announced that the crescent moon for the holy month of Ramadan was not sighted today.

According to the News Agency—Srinagar News Observer (SNO) Following a meeting of the committee, it was decided that since the moon remains unseen, the first fast (Roza) of Ramadan 2025 will be observed on Sunday, March 2, 2025.

The announcement was made by Sayyed Shaban Bukhari, Deputy Shahi Imam and Vice President of the committee.—(SNO)
