SKUAST Jammu Recruitment 2025: Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-J) is inviting applications for the position of Technical Manpower (YP-I) on a contractual basis. Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualification:
Graduate in Agriculture
Desirable Qualification:
M.Sc. (Ag.) in Agronomy
Experience in research or fieldwork related to Agronomy is preferred
Job Responsibilities
Conducting surveys and training programs
Implementation of experiments on farmers’ fields
Handling crop management practices
Sampling and analysis of plant and soil
Compilation and tabulation of data
Proficiency in computer use, especially Excel
Laboratory work and data feeding (Project operating in District Udhampur)

Terms and Conditions
- The appointment is purely temporary and on a contractual basis up to November 2025.
- The University or PI reserves the right to terminate the appointment at any time due to unsatisfactory performance or lack of project funds.
- The selected candidate will have no legal claim for regularization in SKUAST-J.
- If the selected candidate wishes to resign, one month prior notice must be given.
