SKUAST Kashmir Recruitment 2025:Applications are invited from eligible candidates for various positions under the project titled “Competitiveness Improvement of Agriculture & Allied Sectors Project in J&K (JKCIP)” on a purely contractual basis. The initial appointment will be for one year, with the possibility of extension in yearly increments based on performance and project requirements. The selected candidates will be stationed at Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-K), Shalimar, Srinagar, or its constituent units.

Terms and Conditions:
- The engagement is contractual and full-time, initially for one year, extendable based on performance and project requirements.
- Selected candidates will be posted at SKUAST-K, Shalimar, Srinagar.
- Either party may terminate the contract with one month’s notice or by compensating with one month’s salary.
- Candidates must uphold ethical standards and comply with IFAD’s policies on preventing fraud, corruption, and misconduct. This includes:
- Corrupt practices – Offering or receiving bribes.
- Fraudulent practices – Providing false information to gain benefits.
- Collusive practices – Secret arrangements to gain an unfair advantage.
- Coercive practices – Using threats or force to influence actions.
- Obstructive practices – Destroying or falsifying evidence to hinder investigations.
- Candidates must adhere to IFAD’s policies against sexual harassment, exploitation, and abuse. Any proven misconduct will lead to immediate termination.
- All activities under this contract must align with IFAD’s Social, Environmental, and Climate Assessment Procedures (SECAP).
- Selected candidates must comply with SKUAST-K / JKCIP’s HR policies and other relevant regulations.
- Candidates must provide a declaration stating that they have not been convicted, dismissed, or compulsorily retired due to misconduct.
- Candidates must submit an affidavit confirming that they will not claim absorption into JKCIP or SKUAST-K beyond the approved project period.
- In case of a high number of applications, a screening process based on qualifications, skills, and experience will be used to shortlist candidates for interviews.
