SSC CGL Result 2023 Direct Link: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the release of the SSC CGL Result 2022 on the 9th of February, 2023. This result pertains to the Tier 1 examination conducted by the examination authority, the Staff Selection Commission. According to the analysis of the results, a total of 3,86,652 candidates have been selected to move forward to the next stage of the exam process, which is the SSC CGL Tier 2 examination. The Tier 2 exam is scheduled to be held from the 2nd to the 7th of March, 2023.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the result of CGL Tier-1. More than three and a half lakh candidates have been successful in this. Candidates can check their result by visiting ssc.nic.in. Marks of successful and unsuccessful candidates will be released on 22 February 2023. The commission had conducted this recruitment exam from 01 December to 13 December 2022 in online mode. Through this, about 37 thousand posts will be appointed in the departments of the central government. About 31 lakh youth from all over the country have filled the form of this recruitment.

CGL Tier-1 was organized from 1 December 2022 to 13 December 2022 in CBT mode across the country. On the basis of marks of the candidates, they are shortlisted for Tier-2. For Assistant Audit Officer and Assistant Accounts Officer (List-1), Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) (List-2) and for the posts other than AAO and JSO (List-3), three separate cut-offs have been released. Marks have been normalized due to the exam being held in multiple shifts. The minimum qualifying marks were fixed at 30 per cent for unreserved category, 25 per cent for OBC and EWS and 20 per cent for all other categories.

CGL Tier-2 to be organized from March 7
CGL Tier-2 exam is to be held from 2nd March 2023 to 7th March 2023. Soon its admit cards will be issued. The commission has said that along with the marks, the final answer key of Tier-I will also be released on February 22. Marks will be available till 8th March 2023.
Let us tell you that till now there were three stages (Tier-1, 2 and 3) in CGL recruitment but now there will be only two stages. The special thing is that the efficiency test i.e. data entry speed test to be held after the three-stage exam will also be done along with the second stage exam. Due to which the time taken in the recruitment process will be reduced to a great extent.
Out of 924110 registered candidates in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar under Central Region, 464583 (50.27 percent) appeared. While 459527 candidates left the exam. In Uttar Pradesh, out of 673638 registered, 324427 (48.16 per cent) appeared while in Bihar, out of 250472, 140156 (55.96 per cent) appeared

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will be releasing the marks obtained by all candidates who appeared for the Tier 1 exam of the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) on the 22nd of February, 2023. This information will be available on the official SSC website, https://ssc.nic.in. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their individual marks from the 22nd of February to the 8th of March, 2023 by logging in to the website using their registered ID and password
Additionally, the SSC has taken into consideration the objections raised by candidates regarding the initial answer keys of the Tier 1 exam and has made the necessary changes to arrive at the final answer keys. The final answer keys along with the question papers will be made available on the SSC website for the candidates to review.
