Kashmir Region:

The Kashmir Valley witnessed unusually high temperatures today, with several areas recording significantly above-normal heat levels:

• Srinagar: 34.4°C — 9.0°C above normal
• Qazigund: 33.5°C — 8.9°C above normal
• Pahalgam: 27.8°C — 5.6°C above normal
• Kupwara: 31.6°C — 5.3°C above normal
• Kokernag: 33.3°C — 9.2°C above normal
• Gulmarg: 25.4°C — 8.8°C above normal

Jammu Region:

The Jammu division remained hot as well, with moderate deviations from normal temperatures:

• Jammu: 38.5°C — Just 0.1°C above normal
• Banihal: 31.0°C — 4.1°C above normal
• Batote: 29.2°C — 2.1°C above normal
• Bhaderwah: 32.1°C — 3.9°C above normal
• Katra: 36.2°C — 0.9°C above normal

Ladakh:

In contrast, the high-altitude desert of Ladakh saw more moderate temperatures:

• Leh: 22.4°C
