SRINAGAR: Two young men from Kupwara’s Machil area lost their lives in a tragic road accident on Monday after their motorcycle collided with an electric pole near the Tourist Reception Centre (TRC) in Srinagar.

The deceased have been identified as Gh Mohammad Lone (25) and Reyaz Ahmad Tantray (23). According to initial reports, the duo sustained critical injuries in the crash and were rushed to SMHS Hospital, where doctors declared them dead on arrival.
The accident occurred during the afternoon hours, prompting immediate response from bystanders and emergency services. Eyewitnesses reported that the motorcycle lost control before crashing into the pole.
Local police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated necessary legal proceedings. A case has been registered, and further investigations are underway to ascertain the cause of the accident.kashmir life
