SRINAGAR: Two labourers died, reportedly due to suffocation, in the Qamarwari area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district, officials said.

An official said that the labourers were found unconscious by locals inside their rented room in Qamarwari. They were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, but unfortunately, they succumbed to their injuries. “The deceased labourers have been identified as Parvaiz Khan and Mohd Yousuf Khan, both residents of Kalaroos, Kupwara.”
A police official said that a case has been registered in this regard for further investigation. (GNS)
