             “Two Tourists Injured After Car Plunges into Gorge Near Z-Morh Tunnel” : SRINAGAR: Two tourists from West Bengal were injured on Saturday after their vehicle skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge near Z-Morh, close to Ranga in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.

A police official said that the accident involved a Breeza (Anvat-type) vehicle, which reportedly lost control and veered off the road before falling into a deep gorge.

The injured were identified as Prateek Mandal, son of Shayamal Mandal, and his wife Annu, both residents of West Bengal. They were initially shifted to PHC Sonamarg for immediate medical attention and later referred to SKIMS Srinagar for specialised treatment, he said.

Their condition is said to be stable, while police have taken cognisance of the incident and further investigation has started. (JKNS)
