Under 19 World Cup 2023: Jay Shah said- Sachin Tendulkar and BCCI officials will congratulate the victorious India U19 team at the Narendra Modi Stadium on February 1.
New Delhi: India’s girls created history by winning the Under-19 T-20 World Cup played in South Africa. On Sunday, Team India defeated England by 7 wickets to win the inaugural Women’s T20 World Cup. The BCCI is proud after this thumping victory of Team India. The board had announced the prize money of Rs 5 crore after India’s win last evening. Now BCCI Secretary Jai Shah has made another announcement.
Will be honored on February 1

Daughters will be present in the final match against New Zealand
Earlier Jay Shah had tweeted that I invite Shefali Verma and her victorious team to join us at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad and watch the 3rd T20 on 1st February. This achievement certainly calls for a celebration. Announcing the prize money, Jai Shah said – Women’s cricket is on the rise in India and the victory of the World Cup has raised the stature of women’s cricket several notches higher. I am happy to announce Rs 5 crore for the entire team and support staff as prize money. This is certainly a path-breaking year.
