Out of 48,17,441 registered candidates, 34.6 lakh appeared for the written test. This includes 15 lakh women aspirants. The exam was conducted in two phases, from August 23-25 and August 30-31, across 1,174 exam centers in 67 districts of Uttar Pradesh.
