Winter Vacation For Schools In Kashmir Region These Areas Extended Till The Education Department in District Kargil of the Union Territory of Ladakh has decided to extend the winter vacation for all government and private institutions. The extension has been approved by the Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC, Kargil and will continue until March 12th, 2023. The Chief Education Officer, Kargil has issued a notice regarding this extension.
As per the notice, schools will reopen on March 13th, 2023, while the staff members have been instructed to report to schools on March 10th, 2023, to make necessary arrangements for the reopening. This decision has been taken to provide relief to the students and staff members during the harsh winter season.
The notice has been copied to various authorities including the OSD to Worthy Secretary School Education UT Ladakh, OSD to Worthy Director School Education UT Ladakh HQ-Kargil, Station Director All India Radio Kargil, and the Private Secretary to Hon’ble Chief Executive Councilor, LAHDC, Kargil, for information of the Hon’ble CEC.
To ensure that the notice reaches a wider audience, the Station Director of All India Radio Kargil has been requested to broadcast the notice for two to three consecutive days. The Notice Board Bazaar/Baroo has also been informed of the decision
