SRINAGAR: Nine people were injured in a road accident at Nipora Mirbazar in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district after a traveller vehicle overturned, officials said.

An official said that the accident occurred when the tourist travelle
r vehicle lost control and overturned. All the injured were immediately taken to GMC Anantnag for treatment.
The injured have been identified as Vikram Kumar from Rajasthan, Avala Krishna Chaitanya from Andhra Pradesh, Aftab from Uttar Pradesh, Shanbo from Mumbai, Khota from Rajasthan, Ramlal from Mumbai, Vabak Kumar from Mumbai, Anil Kumar from Kalwa, Mumbai, and Rahul from Rajasthan.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident, and an investigation is underway. (JKNS)
