RBI to Launch New ₹10 and ₹500 Notes: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced the release of new ₹10 and ₹500 denomination banknotes under the Mahatma Gandhi (New) Series. These new notes will feature the signature of the current RBI Governor, Sanjay Malhotra.

The RBI has also clarified that all previously issued ₹10 and ₹500 banknotes will remain legal tender and continue to be valid for transactions.
