JKSSB Cancels Recruitment for Deputy Superintendent Posts in ARI & Trainings Department (Item No. 162): The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has officially withdrawn the recruitment process for the post of Deputy Superintendent(s) in the Directorate of Stationery and Office Supplies, under the ARI & Trainings Department.

Initially, the ARI & Trainings Department, through Indent No. ARI/SP/14/2014 dated 15.12.2020, had referred five (05) UT cadre posts of Deputy Superintendent to JKSSB. These posts were subsequently advertised by JKSSB under Advertisement Notification No. 05 of 2020 dated 24.12.2020, listed as Item No. 162, along with a total of 580 posts across various departments.
Later, the department requested a hold on the selection process via Letter No. ARI-Estt/01/2024 dated 24.01.2024. Responding to this, JKSSB issued a notice to withhold the examination for these posts under Endorsement No. JKSSB-COEOEXAM(UT)/10/2022-04 (7055504) dated 29.01.2024.
Now, through Letter No. ARI-Estt/01/2024-01 (7380677) dated 06.05.2025, the ARI & Trainings Department has officially requested withdrawal of the referred posts, citing that the Directorate of Stationery and Office Supplies has been wound up.
Accordingly, the recruitment process for the five Deputy Superintendent posts (Item No. 162) stands cancelled, and the posts have been returned to the ARI & Trainings Department. All applicants who had applied for these positions are hereby informed of this withdrawal.
