Government Medical College (GMC) Baramulla has invited online applications from eligible domiciles of J&K for contractual appointments on an Academic Arrangement Basis under SO-364 of 2020. The engagement is initially for one year, extendable up to six years based on performance or until regular appointments are made.
GMC Baramulla Recruitment 2025 Available Positions & Eligibility Criteria
1️⃣ Technical Assistant/Technician (Laboratory Technician)
🔹 Qualification: 10+2 with Science & Diploma in Medical Lab Technology/Medical Assistant Course from a recognized institute.
2️⃣ Junior Staff Nurse
🔹 Qualification: 10+2 with Science & Diploma/B.Sc Nursing from a recognized institute.
3️⃣ Technical Assistant/Technician (Anesthesia)
🔹 Qualification: 10+2 with Science & Diploma in Anesthesia Assistant Course from a recognized institute.
4️⃣ Technical Assistant/Technician (Theatre)
🔹 Qualification: 10+2 with Science & Diploma in Theatre Assistant/Technician Course from a recognized institute.
5️⃣ X-Ray Technician/Radiography Technician
🔹 Qualification: 10+2 with Science & Diploma in X-Ray/Radiography from a recognized institute.

✅ Purely merit-based through a written test.

General Terms & Conditions
✔ Contractual Basis: No guarantee of regularization.
✔ Duration: 1 year, extendable up to 6 years based on performance.
✔ Salary: As per S.O. 364 of 2020.
✔ Agreement: Candidates must sign an agreement stating they will not leave before 1 year. A 1-month notice is required for resignation; otherwise, the last month’s salary will be forfeited.
✔ Age Limit:
🔹 Minimum: 18 years
🔹 Maximum: 63 years
