Government Teacher Suspended for Engaging in Private Tutoring at Coaching Centre
The Department of Education in Srinagar has issued an order to suspend a government teacher who was found teaching at a private coaching center in the Anantnag district of south Kashmir.
Qouting by GNS,
As per the order, Mr. Bilal Ahmad Lone, a teacher currently serving at Middle School Garoora and deployed at Model Boys Higher Secondary Anantnag, has been suspended with immediate effect. The suspension is in accordance with Rule 31 of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control, and Appeal) Rules 1956. The suspension is pending an inquiry into the teacher’s conduct, which is deemed to be a violation of Rule 10 of the J&K Government Employees (Conduct) Rules, 1971, Chapter (IV) Section 28 of the RTE Act, 2009, and circular number 49-JK(Edu) of 2022, dated 17.11.2022.
During the period of suspension, the teacher will be attached to the principal of the District Institute of Education and Training in Anantnag, as stated in the order (GNS).
