Stray Dog Attacks Leave Seven Injured in Kupwara’s Lolab Area, Women and Minors Among Victims
Several individuals, including women and children, sustained injuries in multiple stray dog attacks in the Lolab area of Kupwara district in north Kashmir. The injured victims were promptly taken to SDH Sogam for immediate medical attention. Among them, one individual with more severe injuries was referred to SDH Kupwara for specialized treatment.
An official has confirmed the identities of the victims as follows: Asha Begum (55), wife of Mohammad Saleem Khan; Mohammad Ramzan (60); Shafat Ahmed (6), son of Ghulam Qadir; Bibi Noor (55), wife of Abdul Jaffar Naiku, all residents of Divar; Haneefa Begum (50), wife of Abdul Khaliq, resident of Tekipora; and a 5-year-old boy named Aurungzaib, son of Mohammad Ramzan, from Maidanpora.
The official reassured that the victims are currently receiving treatment, and there is no major cause for concern regarding their overall well-being. (GNS)
