SRINAGAR: The Transport Department of Jammu and Kashmir has issued a transfer and posting order for several Assistant Regional Transport Officers (ARTOs) and In-charge ARTOs.
The reshuffle, detailed in Government Order No. 05-JK(TR) of 2025, was issued on January 18, with immediate effect. The following changes were announced:

Sheetal Kumar Sharma, ARTO Ramban, has been transferred to ARTO Doda.
Abrar Ahmed Kripak, ARTO Kulgam, has been moved to ARTO Anantnag and will also hold additional charge of ARTO Shopian.
Showkat Ahmad Bhat, ARTO Anantnag, has been reassigned to ARTO Kulgam.
Bashrat Mahmood, ARTO Pulwama, has been transferred to ARTO Poonch.
Mehnaz Chisti, ARTO Budgam, has been shifted to ARTO Pulwama.
Tasleem Javaid, previously under orders of adjustment, has been posted as ARTO Kishtwar.
Mohammad Saleem, I/C ARTO Kishtwar, has been placed at the disposal of the RTO Jammu for further duties.
Pawan Kumar Sharma, I/C ARTO Rajouri, will now serve as I/C ARTO Flying Squad-II (Enforcement Wing) on the National Highway.
Bipin Singh Charak, formerly handling the Flying Squad Jammu, will take charge as I/C ARTO Flying Squad-I (Enforcement Wing), Jammu.
Arif Parvaiz Shah, I/C ARTO Shopian, has been transferred to I/C ARTO Budgam.
Rajesh Gupta, I/C ARTO Doda, has been shifted to I/C ARTO Rajouri.
Kuldeep Singh, I/C ARTO (Boi), Passenger Jammu, has been posted as I/C ARTO Ramban.
Tara Mani, I/C ARTO Poonch, has been transferred to I/C ARTO (Boi), Passenger Jammu.
All the officers are deemed relieved with immediate effect as per the order, signed by Niraj Kumar, IAS, Secretary to the Government, Transport Department.
