JEE Mains 2023: National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce the dates for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023 in due course.  JEE Main registration will be conducted at jeemain.nta.nic.in and exam dates will be announced on the same website and nta.ac.in.

 Some reports in October suggested that JEE Main 2023 is likely to be held in January and April next year and the registration process is to begin in November.  However, a senior NTA official confirmed that no such discussions took place.

 There is no age limit to appear in JEE Main.  Candidates who have passed class 12/equivalent exam in 2021, 2022 or appearing in 2023 irrespective of their age can appear for JEE Main exam.  However, candidates may need to fulfill the age criteria of the institute(s) in which they wish to take admission.

 The reservation criteria in JEE Main for Under Graduate (UG) Engineering courses are:

 General-EWS Category: 10% Seats Reserved

 OBC-NCL: 27% seats

 Scheduled Caste (SC): 15%

 Scheduled Tribes (ST): 7.5%

 Persons with Disabilities (PWD): 5%

 The registration date has not been announced yet.  Once it starts, candidates should visit jeemain.nta.nic.in, click on the registration link and generate login id and password, enter details and upload documents, through online mode  Pay JEE Main application fee and submit the form.  Take a screenshot of it for future reference.
