The statement was made in response to a question raised by legislator Showkat Hussain Ganie during the second session of the Legislative Assembly 2025. Ganie had inquired whether the government intended to lower the JKSSB application fee and, if not, the reasons behind it.
In its reply, the government stated that JKSSB relies on the collected application fee to cover administrative expenses for conducting exams, as there is no budgetary support for these activities. The funds are managed through a Revolving Fund, ensuring the smooth conduct of recruitment processes. (JKNS)
