The Department of Handicrafts, Kishtwar, has issued a recruitment notification for the engagement of Craft Instructors on a purely temporary-cum-outsource basis under the Skill Upgradation Program for Project Affected Families (PAFs) of Hydro Electric Power Projects (HEPPs) in Kishtwar District.

This initiative follows the directions of the District Development Commissioner, Kishtwar, based on a meeting held on 17th May 2025 to implement training programs under the R&R Plan for PAFs and PA-sites.

Honorarium: Rs. 20,000 per month

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Domicile: Must be a resident of J&K UT
2. Educational Qualification: Minimum 10th Pass (Matriculation)
3. Age Limit: 18 to 40 years
4. Essential Documents:
   • Date of Birth Certificate
   • Artisan/Weaver Registration Card (if available)
   • Certificate/Diploma in relevant craft from ITI, Handloom Dept., or recognized institutes
   • Experience Certificates
   • Awards/Recognitions (if any)
   • Unemployment Certificate from Employment Department

• Aadhar Card
• PAN Card
• Bank Account Details
• 2 Passport-sized Photographs
• Notarized Affidavit declaring the authenticity of all submitted documents and acceptance of the temporary nature of engagement.

• Scan the QR Code provided in the notification, or

Note: The filled application form along with self-attested documents must be submitted in person at the Handicraft Department Office, Kishtwar, within office working hours before 29th May 2025. Late submissions will not be accepted.

Selection Process:

• Practical Test: 40 Marks
• Viva-Voce (Interview): 10 Marks
• Document Verification

Only shortlisted candidates based on eligibility and practical test will be called for the interview. Final selection will be based on merit, qualifications, and experience, and is subject to approval by the District Development Commissioner, Kishtwar.

Important Note: Non-performing candidates may be disengaged without honorarium and replaced by candidates from the waiting list.
