JKPSC Provisional Select List for the post of Assistant Professor, Mathematics, in GECT, in Higher Education Department – Disposal of representations thereoff.

Whereas, the Higher Education Department, vide letter No. HED- GAZ/85/2022-04 dated 13.04.2022, referred one (01) post under OM category of Assistant Professor Mathematics, in GECT, in Higher Education Department to the J&K Public Service Commission, for selection. The J&K Public Service Commission advertised the said post vide Notification No. 11-PSC (DR-P) of 2023 dated: 05.04.2023; and,
Whereas, the written test was conducted on 22.10.2023 and the result thereof was declared vide Notification No. PSC/Exam/S/2023/80 dated: 09.11.2023. The viva-voce of the candidates was conducted on
14.11.2023; and,
Whereas, the provisional Select List was issued vide Notification No. 93-PSC (DR-S) of 2023 dated 18.11.2023, subject to objections, to be received within five days; and,
Whereas, in response to the above Notification, one objection has been received from Mr. Irshad Ahmad Sheikh, alleging that a selected candidate, under OM category, namely, Ajaz Ahmad Mallah has managed the publication of two Research Papers in the following paid/predatory journals against payment:-
