JKPSC Veterinary Assistant Surgeon Document Verification 2025: Schedule & Important Instructions

The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has released a notification regarding the document verification process for candidates who have applied for the post of Veterinary Assistant Surgeon in the Animal and Sheep Husbandry Department.

Candidates listed in Annexure “A” and “B” of the official notice are instructed to appear before the Verification Committee on 6th and 7th May 2025 at 9:30 AM. The verification will be held at JKPSC offices in Jammu or Srinagar, based on the candidate’s preference.

During the verification, candidates must present original documents supporting their eligibility claims, including:

Date of birth proof

Educational qualifications

Internship completion certificate

Registration with State Veterinary Council or equivalent

Category certificate (if applicable)

Disability certificate (if applicable)

This verification is being conducted under Rule 27 & 28 of the J&K Public Service Commission (Business & Procedure) Rules, 2021.

Important Note:
The provisional list of candidates in Annexure “A” and “B” is only for the purpose of document verification. It does not guarantee selection, recommendation, or appointment. Final decisions will be made in accordance with the rules and subject to any court orders related to pending writ petitions.

Candidates failing to appear for document verification will be solely responsible for any consequences arising from their non-appearance.
