SRINAGAR: A man was killed and another injured in a road mishap on Bani-Sandroon road in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.

An official said that the accident involved an Alto car bearing registration number PB02 AM 7485. The deceased has been identified as Ravinder Kumar, son of Subash Chander, a resident of Kotri Sandroon.
The injured person, identified as Darmaiz Singh, son of Soom Raj, a resident of Roulka Morha Kaloga, is undergoing treatment at Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Bani and is stated to be out of danger.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated further investigation.(KNC)
