 PAK vs NZ: When Pakistan’s stormy batsman Mohammad Rizwan was asked with whom he would like to meet in the final, he gave a big statement.

New Delhi: Pakistan defeated New Zealand by 7 wickets in the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup to reach the final.  Pakistan repeating history after 30 years, trampled New Zealand in the first semi-final.  In the 1992 World Cup too, Pakistan defeated New Zealand and made it to the final.  Where he faced England.  This time too England is the contender for the final.  The second semi-final between India and England will be held on Thursday.  Before this match, when Pakistan’s stormy batsman Mohammad Rizwan was asked with whom he would like to meet in the final, he gave a big statement.

However, this journey of Pakistan till the final has not been easy.  India had lost to Zimbabwe in the first two matches.  Rizwan said on this wonderful comeback ā€“ We knew that after the defeat, we are going to do something different.  Coach Saqlain Mushtaq has always been saying that if something bad happens to you before then assume you are going to do something different.  I said there would be a big upset and here we are today.

 Rizwan further said- The way the tournament started was not good for us, but the captain and the coaches reposed faith in us.  The team remained united and the result is in front of everyone.  We knew that if we stick together and chill, we can win the biggest match.  We were confident to beat New Zealand.  Rizwan was adjudged the player of the match for his brilliant innings of 57 off 43 balls against New Zealand.
