In Srinagar, the Chief Engineer of J&KPTCL informed that to facilitate augmentation works at Grid Sub-Station Magam, including the temporary shifting of 33 KV Kongamdara and Magam feeders, a power shutdown will be observed. The interruption is necessary for sparing a bay for an 80 MVA Power Transformer and carrying out dismantling and stringing of conductors.
As a result, power supply to Kunzer, Khore, Agar, Kralweth, Mangalore, Ahmadpora, Hardaboora, Loolpora, Dhobiwan, Magam, Mazhama, Aripathan, Bamrooda, Badran, Kanihama, Warihama and adjoining areas will remain affected from 11:00 AM to 03:00 PM on May 20.
In a separate notice, the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, stated that in connection with the laying of HT AB Cable, shutdown of the 33KV Badampora Kurhama-Dab (Tap line) will be observed.
